Geslyne Barreta

Geslyne loves how warm and welcoming everyone at Valley is and noticed this as soon as she started teaching here in 2026. she has been teaching since 2022 and revels in the “in-between” moments, building connections, and really getting to know her students. Born in the Marshall Islands, Geslyne loved making up little worlds as a child, and her favorite school subject was social studies. These days outside of school you will find her reading mysteries, walking and picnicking by water, and playing fetch with her dog Rover.
