Ladd Moore

Ladd and his spouse, Susan, are proud parents of two Valley alumni and a current Valley School student—making their family part of the Valley community for an extraordinary fifteen consecutive years. Together, they have been deeply engaged in supporting the school in ways both large and small. Ladd has co-chaired the beloved Cama Beach family weekend, served as a FAV class social representative, contributed as a member of the Philanthropy Committee, and played a role in the most recent strategic planning process. Raised in Seattle, Ladd moved east to attend the College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts, where he met Susan. His career path has taken him from campaign politics and state government to wealth management, and since 2009 he has been helping to lead Uresco Construction Materials, a proud supplier of building materials throughout the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. Outside of work and school life, Ladd enjoys skiing, duck hunting, wake surfing, live music, and time spent with family and friends. He believes deeply in the Valley School’s mission and the power of its community to nurture children and families in life-changing ways that make us all stronger together.
