Maggie Weed

Maggie is a current Valley parent to Linnea in 3 rd grade and Cam in Kindergarten. She and her husband Vince were drawn to Valley’s emphasis on social emotional learning, childhood, and fostering an early curiosity for learning. She hopes to share her fantastic experience with prospective families who can also cherish and value Valley’s mission. Maggie was born and raised on the Peninsula in the Bay Area, and moved up to Washington for college at the University of Puget Sound after falling in love with the Northwest’s lush natural beauty and mellow temperament. Maggie was an Employment Consultant for adults with developmental disabilities, assisting with job placement, strategizing daily and continual work challenges, and fostering her clients’ independence. While on F@V parent leadership, Maggie helped nurture community at Valley, organizing the family camp weekend and Carnival. When she’s not spending time with her energetic family, Maggie loves relaxing and spending quality time with friends.
